Abstract:

thousand-grain weight and fullness锛� and the average thousand-grain weight of varieties from Gansu were highest锛� the fullness of varieties from Europe were highest. In terms of malt quality锛� the turbidity锛宖ine powder extract and the content of water protein in varieties from North American were lower锛� while the soluble nitrogen锛� kolbach index锛� 伪-amino nitrogen锛� 伪-amylase and diastatic power were higher锛� those varieties from Gansu showed high the turbidity锛� fine powder extract and contents of water锛� protein and 尾-glucanase锛� and the contents of 尾-glucan in varieties from European were low. So 33 varieties from European锛� North American and Gansu had respective advantages and disadvantages锛� and they should be given full attention and utilizationin the breeding of Gansu barley varieties.
